Woof! Shiba Inu (SHIB) has now joined the growing list of altcoins available for trade and transfer on the Voyager app.
Ryoshi, the anonymous founder of Shiba Inu (the network, not the dog), described it as “an experiment in decentralized spontaneous community building.” The goal of Shiba Inu is to be completely community-driven and governed, showing real loyalty to the core values of the DeFi network. The Shiba Inu ecosystem is determined to break away from the known financial structures to bring a completely decentralized space to its users and promote “the radical acceptance of others.”
Shiba Inu has created more than just a light-hearted meme coin (SHIB). Members of the Shiba Inu community refer to themselves as the Shib Army and have developed the ecosystem with several different purposes in mind. The Shiba Inu platform chose to build on the Ethereum network out of a desire to remain completely decentralized and because they felt it would be the best blockchain to house ShibSwap, the Shiba Inu network’s anticipated decentralized exchange platform (or DEX). ShibSwap will feature three main tokens: $SHIB, $LEASH, and $BONE and will utilize a staking protocol.
There are also sections devoted to art production and rescue work, as the Shiba Inu Ecosystem partners with AmazonSmile to rescue the often cast-out Shiba Inu dog in an attempt to help good doggos everywhere.

How to buy SHIB on Voyager
- Get the Voyager app: Available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, visit and search Voyager or click here to download now.
- Open a Voyager trading account: Fill in your personal information to create a trading account. As a licensed financial institution, know that your personal information is always safe with us.
- Link your bank: Link your bank account by navigating to the User Icon on your Market Screen. On your account page, tap Bank Accounts and add your bank.
- Fund your Voyager account: To deposit USD, go to your account page and tap Transfer Cash or Crypto, then Deposit to Voyager Account and select USD. Next, enter the amount of USD you'd like to transfer and slide the Slide to Deposit USD banner. Now you can trade instantly.
